WESAC Baseball is committed to providing a positive experience for all its participants. Occasionally, actions by some coach, player, parent or opponent get in the way of that goal. The WESAC Board takes all incidents that cause concern for any person very seriously and requests that all such incidents be reported.

The process for reporting incidents can take one of several paths.

The best first path is a phone call or an e-mail to Jim Feldman or Brad Hanson will generate an initial inquiry into the situation. A member of the board will determine the seriousness of the incident and offending person may be talked to and appropriate action will taken by the board. Appropriate action may include discussion, observation, suspension or expulsion of the offending party. If suspected criminal activities are involved, the proper authorities will be contacted.

In the event that the violation is judged to be very serious, or if the result of the above process does not produce adequate action, a formal complaint may be made. The formal complaint must be in writing to the President and Commissioner and any other Board Members. Upon receipt of a formal written complaint, the board will launch an investigation of the incident and take the appropriate actions listed above.

WESAC Baseball prefers to handle matters internally whenever possible, however if necessary a complaint may be made to the Kenwood Park Director or any member of the downtown staff.

Over the years there have not been too many significant incidents, however the WESAC Board has suspended and expelled coaches and players in extreme cases.
