The information contained in this handbook should enable a novice coach to have a successful season. This handbook includes information on how to organize a team, how to run a practice, what strategies work well in games, and what the coach has to do outside of teaching baseball. The season will only be as successful as the participants (players, coaches parents) allow it to be. While WESAC can offer advice based on what has worked for other teams inthe past, the dynamics and preparation of the team and coach will dictate how the season will go.
