WESAC Needs Volunteers!

WESAC Baseball owes its success to the continued involvement of many parent volunteers. In 2002, WESAC is requiring each Coach Pitch team and each Machine Pitch team to be responsible for one project to help WESAC run smoothly. When you get your schedule, the team number associated with your team will determine what the project is that is assigned to the team. The projects and team numbers are listed below. A description of each project can be found by clicking on the title of the project.

The projects can be fun experiences for parents and/or kids. Most can be completed in a few hours. All of them are necessary to keep WESAC Baseballl running smoothly. Several of the project take place after the season is over, o it will be necessary to keep in touch with the team until they are completed. In the event that there are fewer teams than listed, then the extra projects will be done by other WESAC volunteers. There are also additional volunteer opportunities, listed below, for those who want to get more involved.

Each team may "opt out" of the project assigned by paying $75 to WESAC. This money will be used to hire someone to complete the project. In the event that a team neither completes its project nor contributes the $75, then each member of that team will be assigned a $15 fee before being able to play in 2003. That penalty fee will again be provided to the people who completed that project.
