Equipment Labeling

During games, it is often the case that bats and other equipment get mixed up between the teams. This is not a big deal when two WESAC teams are playing each other, but when playing teams from other parks it is nice to know which equipment belongs to each team. Also equipment with prominent markings is less likely to be stolen.

At a minimum the bats need to be marked with paint or some other permanent marking. Also it would be nice to have the WESAC W painted onto the batting helmets for both identification and because it looks neat.

The basic equipment marking takes about an hour per season during March. The painting of the helmets can take considerable longer and probably should not be attempted until after the season is over.
