Team Manager

A good team manager can take a lot of pressure off of the hea coach. This is important since being the head coach is the most difficult and time consuming job in the program.

What the team manager does is left to the coach and the manager, but here is a list of suggested ideas. Print and distribute the schedules showing practices and who is bringing treats. Being, or organizing, the phone contact for bad weather or other notices. Possibly bring some or all of he equipment to the games. Arranging for car pools for children whose parents can not attend the games or practices. Planning some team events, such as a player vs parent game, a team picnic, a team outing to a Twins game, a team visit to someone's cabin etc.

Anything to make the kids have more fun and to make it easier for the head coach to coach is a good idea for the team manager. If you would like to volunteer for this activity please send an e-mail to jimfeldman@wesac.org or Click Here
