Baseball Volunteer Opportunity
Coach and Parent Softball
This event has been dormant for many years. The basic premise is to give an opportunities for all parents who think their coaches are "Chucklesheads" to show off their own skill in a competitive game. Or it could be an opportunity for the parents who have never before played to appreciate the talent their children have by attempting to play their game. Or it could be one chance for the old time dads to play baseball on a 90' diamond.
Whatever format, getting the parents involved in a game or two during the summer sounds like fun. The coordinator would decide on the format, publicize the game, get some to bring equipment (and make sure there is a cell phone near by to call 911 if needed).
