Baseball Volunteer Opportunity
Participant Recruiting Coordinator

Historically new entrants into the WESAC programs have come through word of mouth. Many childrn in the neighborhood do not play baseball or softball because they are not aware of the program, or they think that they are too old (at say 2nd grade) to begin participation.

There are many avenues to get more kids aware of and involved in the programs. A volunteer coordinator can be a great help in making this happen. One of the other volunteer jobs is coordination with local schools. Those volunteers would work with this volunteer to get printed material, announcements in school publications and other publicity. In addition, this volunteer would contact the local papers to run articles about the program. This volunteer could also distribute flyers to the area day care centers to attract T-Ball and Blast Ball players.
