Baseball Volunteer Opportunity
Whittier Park Progam Helper


WESAC and Bryant Square have provided children in the Whittier neighborhood with opportunities to play. The number of players however is low compared to the number of children in the neighborhood. WESAC would like to help Whittier park establish its own programs for T-Ball through machine pitch so that the children will have an opportunity to play near their homes. WESAC would also like to have more Whittier residents play on WESAC teams if that is a better alternative.

For each of the past several years, the WESAC Baseball Board has authorized a financial commitment for this effort. This has not been widely used due to a lack of volunteer time, and as a result the Whittier programs are not well organized.

This volunteer would work to help Whittier residents bring baseball to the park.
