Practivce plan for Thursday, May 24
We have been taking good swings in games and we need to practice deciding when to swing. We have let good pitches go by for called strikes and swung at some pitches that we couldn't hit. Also we need to work on sliding on the dirt, the underhand throw when you are close to the person you are throwing to, and making good, hard overhand throws.

Congratulations to Rose and Mary Kate for winning the throwing competition at practice on Thursday, May 24. Annie deserves an honorable mention. She and her partner were leading before coach Jim dropped the last throw!

Practice Plan for 5/17

Practice notes from Saturday, May 5th.
With the loss of practice time due to the make up game on Thursday, please make every effort to attend practice on Wednesday. Usually that's for pitchers but there is some hitting practice as well. Also the Saturday optional practices are good times to get in extra work.. We played a game with the players that were there and Lauren learned that taking a big lead off can really get you well on your way to the next base, even when there is someone on that base. Coach Jim got to third on a ground ball while Lauren was about half way there due to a good lead off by coach Jim.

Practice notes from Thursday, May 3rd.
Wow, what a bunch of tough kids!. Parents, sorry for sending three players home with bloody band aids, but they all bounced right back with enthusiasm. Coach Eric reports that the hitting is coming around. Coach Jim saw every player make good slides on the sliding pad then on the dirt. Way to go!!
