Squeeze Roster
Rachael Click, (SS), age 20, will be a junior at Gustavus this fall. She is
from Rochester and was the Freshman of the Year in the MIAC two seasons ago
and an all-conference player last year. She is also an accomplished tennis
player.
Olivia Graham (C, 3B), age 21, is entering her senior year at St. Cloud
State. She has been a starter since her freshman year and has moved from
catcher to third base. She is from Roseville.
Olea Hatch (INF, OF, P), age 26, played high school softball at Washburn
during their dominant years. She played with the Peppers in the summer and
played college ball at the U of South Dakota. She now works for the Park
Nicollet Medical Center and is getting married in August.
Elisha Huse, (C), age 24, played high school ball in Burnsville and college
ball at the U of Iowa. She is an accountant for General Mills in Golden
Valley. She was also a Pepper.
Audrey Lenoch, (1B, INF, C), age 24, was a Division III All-America at
Gustavus. She is from Pine Island, where she now helps her father coach the
high school team. Audrey is a nurse at the Mayo Clinic.
Mandy Liles, (OF, P), age 27, was a high school pitcher at Cooper. She
started her college career at UW-Parkside and transferred to UW-Madison for
the engineering program. She played outfield and infield positions in
college and started every game her senior year at Madison. She is a civil
engineer and does hitting/defense instruction at the Hopkins winter gym.
Julie Mahre, (2B), age 21, is entering her senior year in nursing at
Gustavus. She has been an All-MIAC selection each year in college. She is
from White Bear Lake.
Kaja Martinson, (3B), age 25, is an elementary art teacher in the Wayzata
district. She played high school ball in both Minnetonka and Eastview and
played summer ball in a number of places, including Hopkins. She played
three years at the U of South Dakota and then transferred to St. Thomas her
senior year. She played on one of the national championship teams. She and
Lindsey Peterson were the JV coaches at Wayzata last spring.
Ali Nystrom, (OF), age 19, is entering her sophomore year at Macalester. She
played high school ball in Minnetonka and summers with the Peppers. She is
learning to pitch so she can help bolster the program at Mac.
Lindsey Peterson, (P), age 24, is the only remaining original member of the
Squeeze. She pitched at Hopkins and St. Ben's and is now an elementary
teacher in the Wayzata district. She and Kaja were the JV coaches at Wayzata
last spring.
Angie (Berg) Ryan, (SS), age 25, is the head coach at Forest Lake high
school, where she played her high school ball. She was a standout at St.
Cloud State. She also coaches the Forest Lake 16U team in the summer. Angie
was married last summer.
Stef Schroeder, (P), age 22, will be a senior at St. Cloud State, where she
has been in the starting rotation since her freshman year. She is from Pine
Island and played summer ball with the Peppers.
Nikki Smith, (OF, C), age 24, is from Anoka and attended both UND and
Concordia-St. Paul, where she was an all-conference player on the team. She
is currently in graduate school at St. Cloud State and is a graduate
assistant coach for the softball team.
Bri Sturm, (P), age 20, will be a junior at UW-Eau Claire this fall. She was
named to the All-WIAC team last season, and her team finished third at the
Division III National Tournament last spring. She is from Zumbrota.
Michelle Wong, (2B), age 24, is entering her final year in a doctoral
program in physical therapy. She played high school ball in Hopkins and
college ball at St. Thomas, where she was on two national championship teams
and was named to the All-America team three times. She is also a
hitting/defense clinician in the Hopkins winter gym.
Gina Zech, (1B), age 21, is entering her senior year at UMD, where she has
been the team captain since her sophomore year. She holds the UMD record for
most doubles in a season. Gina is from White Bear Lake and played high
school ball at Hill Murray.
