Fri, March 12, 6:30 to 10 pm.  Walker Game Night:  A FUN-raiser. Come out of your winter hibernation and play games with us! Children, adults, & others welcome. We'll start the evening off with a round of bingo, called by our very own Jonas Bomster. After that: Bring your favorite games: board, card, or mild physical (Twister, anyone?) Bring your own beverages & a snack to share with everyone. Hosted by Terri Parks & Laura Burlis- they're bringing Scrabble, Bananagram, Pictionary, and Laura's favorite: Taboo.

 

SATURDAY, Mar 13 Walker Dance.  Get “Back to the 60’s” with our annual hippie-era (+ St Patrick’s) dance - fun, fun, fun! 

Groovy family time starts 7 pm. Then, live music from 8- 11(:30) pm by the way-back, laid-back Wayniacs!  Hippie-style dress optional, but encouraged.  Our celebration will also serve as Walker aficionado Anne Tiller's annual 60th(-plus) birthday party - happy B-day, Anne!

Suggested donation of $10 - OR only $5 plus a appetizer/snack contribution. No one turned away.  Proceeds support Walker Church's transformative work!  See you there.  FFI: Paul M (612-729-1371) or Anne T (651-487-9147).

 

Sunday March 14, 1-4 pm Make Your Own Art Switchplate Class:  in the L'Orange Gallery/Art Studio at Walker. .Learn techniques for working with polymer clay & create your own unique single or double switchplate. Make, bake, & take home, ready to put up! Taught by Laura Burlis. All materials provided. $40, $30. discount for Walker Church members.
