The Walker Outreach program has received grants from the following organizations within the past year. Frey Foundation: www.freyfoundation.org Gave money for after school programs in 2007 Minnesota Department of Public Safety: www.ojp.state.mn.us/grants/jac/programtypes/yip.htm Awarded a 2 year grant for Neighbor to Neighbor Youth (Restorative Justice and After School programs 2006 and 2007) Allina Foundation: www.allina.com Gave money for Learn to Work/Work to Learn summer 2006 In addition to grants, the Outreach program received over 100 gifts from individuals and small businesses in 2006!. Approximately half of those gifts came from Walker Community Church members with the rest coming from neighborhood businesses and other interested individual contributors. The Outreach program also receives in kind support from Walker Community UMC.
